Job Description

Role: Electronics Technicians, level 2 & 3

Location: Norfolk with quarterly travel in the US

Must Haves:

  • Secret Clearance
  • 4+ years experience of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities
  • Ability to travel a few times a quarter
  • Strong access control programming background (Lenel, Software House, Genetic)

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking an Electronics Technician to support a large federal customer of ours in Norfolk, VA. This technician responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Performing preventive maintenance requirements
  • Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory
  • Leading teams on small moderately complex installation projects
  • Conducting and documenting daily tool box talks
  • Installing all head end equipment at both the local and global level per design packages
  • Programming head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems
  • Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level
  • Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level
  • Providing on-site software commissioning and testing.

Compensation:

$28/hr to $32/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
