Ventós is an international company specializing in the distribution of Essential Oils & Aroma Chemicals for the Flavors & Fragrances Industry. With our headquarters in Barcelona, Spain, we operate 8 subsidiaries worldwide, including Ventós USA Inc., our American branch located in Kenilworth, NJ.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Warehouse Manager to oversee Warehousing and Logistics. This is a key leadership role in our U.S. team, offering the opportunity to drive efficiency, optimize supply chain processes, and contribute to the success of a global company.

Your Role

  • Oversee the flow of goods from origin to the final customer, managing information, goods movement, and cost control.
  • Analyze stock and inventory: updates, removals, and continuous monitoring.
  • Manage human resources: analyze needs based on growth, demand, and seasonality.
  • Manage material/resources: provide infrastructure as stock increases.
  • Negotiate rates and services with transporters.
  • Manage auxiliary materials (pallets, empty containers, labels, etc.).
  • Coordinate with external logistics operators to optimize stock locations, rates, and services.
  • Develop and implement improvements in warehouse logistics processes.
  • Integrate and coordinate the activities of transporters, improving traceability and proactivity.
  • Utilize file and information exchange with Navision to increase efficiency.
  • Control operational costs of the warehouse based on the level of activity.
  • Manage fire prevention systems, ensuring their review, adaptation, and continuous maintenance.
  • Track the monthly progress of warehouse activities and coordinate with Operations Management in Barcelona.
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities: orders, personnel, resources, and tools.
  • Prioritize orders and manage transport loads, ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Maintain warehouse order and cleanliness, ensuring proper use of resources and facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s standard procedures in areas such as receiving, location, preparation, repacking, inventory, and shipping.
  • Identify and implement best practices to reduce errors and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage warehouse-specific incidents and respond appropriately.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in warehouse management within the Flavours and Fragrances or related industries, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in training, mentoring, and motivating warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Expertise in inventory control and logistics operations, ensuring efficient stock management, accurate reporting, and timely order fulfillment.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to troubleshoot warehouse challenges and implement proactive solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working cross-functionally with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience with Navision ERP a plus
