Job Description

Trillium Construction is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Superintendent in Madison, WI! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, with the ability to lead on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and contribute directly to framing, demolition, and finish carpentry work.

Duties:

• Supervise and manage daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects.
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Monitor and maintain the construction schedule; proactively resolve delays or scheduling conflicts.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and jobsite cleanliness.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate between $38/hr - $45/hr

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry (commercial construction experience strongly preferred over residential).
• Proficient in wood stud and steel stud framing.
• Ability to lead jobsite activities while also contributing hands-on when needed.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and site coordination.
• Competence in basic computer functions such as email and calendar usage (project management software not required).
