Job Description

Must-haves:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to bend, squat, push/pull, and lift 30 pounds as needed to assist with therapy services

Plusses:

  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.

Day-to-Day:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist , you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality therapy services to children and young adults. Your responsibilities will include planning and leading 30-minute therapy sessions , conducting initial assessments and re-evaluations, and maintaining accurate documentation of treatment progress. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with parents, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and other professionals to align treatment goals and create a comprehensive care plan. You’ll also participate in ongoing professional development and training , ensuring you stay at the forefront of best practices in speech therapy. Maintaining a clean and organized therapy space , adhering to supply maintenance protocols, and ensuring HIPAA compliance are all essential parts of your role. Additionally, you’ll supervise students, clinical fellows, and new hires , support seamless client transitions, and provide coverage for colleagues when needed. Beyond individual therapy, you’ll contribute to broader clinic initiatives that enhance the impact of therapy services across the organization.
