Job Description

ONWARD Headhunting is partnering with a client in Dallas (with flexibility for Nashville or remote candidates) in its search for a Senior Manager of Finance to support a high-growth, private equity-backed PPM roll-up platform.

This role is ideal for a finance leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare services environment and has experience supporting multi-site, provider-led operations. You will play a key role in building financial infrastructure, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving performance across the organization. This is a high-impact opportunity to work directly with the executive team and private equity sponsors, helping to scale a platform that is actively acquiring and integrating physician practices across multiple markets.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across the platform and individual practice entities
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support M&A, integrations, and strategic initiatives
  • Build and manage dashboards and reporting packages for internal leadership and PE sponsors
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, RevCycle, and Accounting to improve financial visibility and performance
  • Support integration of newly acquired practices into the financial reporting and planning process
  • Provide financial analysis for growth initiatives, cost optimization, and clinical margin improvement
  • Present monthly reporting and performance insights to the CFO, CEO, and investors
  • Help build scalable finance systems and processes to support ongoing growth

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or similar roles—preferably in PE-backed, multi-site healthcare services
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Prior experience working within a physician group, MSO, or PPM roll-up is a major plus
  • Comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous, high-growth environments with evolving priorities
  • Polished communicator, capable of presenting clearly to executive and investor audiences
  • Familiarity with tools like NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Tableau/PowerBI, or similar reporting systems
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
