Job Description

SkyBridge Luxury & Associates has partnered with an iconic ultra-luxury resort in Tucson, Arizona, to source a seasoned Spa Director to lead one of the region’s most celebrated wellness destinations. This executive role offers the opportunity to oversee all facets of a high-end spa and wellness program, integrating holistic healing traditions with world-class hospitality standards.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in luxury spa operations, team development, and guest engagement, with a forward-thinking approach to wellness programming, revenue optimization, and experiential design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the spa, salon, and wellness offerings, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, driving profitability while maintaining the highest service standards.
  • Develop seasonal and innovative wellness programming aligned with brand ethos and guest demand.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of spa professionals, cultivating a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee product selection, inventory, and retail strategy.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to promote spa experiences, special offers, and membership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with resort leadership to integrate wellness across departments and enhance the overall resort experience.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5–7 years in a senior spa leadership role within a luxury hotel, resort, or wellness destination.
  • Proven ability to manage P&L, develop strategic programming, and deliver service excellence in a high-touch environment.
  • Strong background in team development, staff certification standards, and guest recovery.
  • Experience with spa management software, retail merchandising, and operational reporting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Passion for holistic wellness, innovation, and personalized guest service.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
