Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Execute SEO strategies as provided by the strategist or director.
  • Work with SEO Strategist to perform Keyword Research
  • Work with SEO Strategist to develop a Keyword Map for clients
  • Work with SEO Strategist to create a Content Calendar for clients
  • Based on Keyword Research and Current Rankings, Identify Pages that could rank highly for target keywords with additional links pointing to them
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of strategy with SEO Strategist, identifying areas of improvement

Execution

  • Create SEO Optimized Content for Blog Posts and Service Pages.
  • Build out new Blog Posts and Service Pages on client websites.
  • Optimize Existing Website Content based on the Keyword Map using Optimization Tool (Clearscope, Market Muse, etc.).
  • Perform technical optimizations on client websites in accordance with the recommendations in the SEMRush Site Audit and other Technical SEO Tools.
  • Manage and continually optimize client Google Business Profiles so as to be effective for lead generation in local geo targets.
  • Submit Citation Building Requests to Local SEO Tools and create Citation manually where needed.
  • In cases where clients utilize independent third-party vendors: Collaborate with third-party vendors to provide support and insight where specified in a client’s Scope of Work.

Communication

  • Communicate with clients in weekly or bi-weekly meetings.
  • Prepare reports for clients based on the established Key Performace Indicators.
  • Comprehend SEO Best Practices and be able to communicate them to the client.
  • Analyze client traffic and keyword trends to communicate future goals and benchmarks.
  • Demonstrate the effectiveness of our efforts to clients.
  • Propose additional services to clients based on their existing scope and current marketing goals.

Policies:

- Responsible for taking a mandatory 30-minute lunch break.

- Must take two 10-minute breaks during the workday.

- Access to "unlimited" policies, contingent upon consistently meeting monthly revenue targets.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in SEO.
  • Excellent understanding of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
  • Ability to create highly refined keyword strategies that lay the foundation for a client’s SEO
  • Meticulous in your research and can adapt to a client’s needs
  • Familiar with website analytics, identifying current problems and opportunities, with a focus on crawlability, site architecture, and site content
  • Knowledge of how to work at off-page SEO, building a website’s authority through links and outreach
  • Ability to speak to clients, understand their business needs, and create solutions for their marketing problems
  • Excellent time management skills and a commitment to on-time deliverables
  • Stay up-to-date on current industry practices, news, and algorithm updates
