Senior Brand Marketing Manager

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California

Duration: 2 months with the potential to go longer

Pay Rate: $50/hr DOE (W2 and benefit options)

Planet Interactive’s well-known beauty client is looking for a Senior Brand Marketing Manager for a 2-month contract opportunity that is hybrid in San Francisco, California!

The Senior Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for establishing marketing plans for brand partners that drive sales and grow clients for brands. Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, this person will partner with brands to optimize programs using the client's marketing levers.

Senior Brand Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own relationship as main marketing contact for 20+ brands
  • Develop a keen understanding of the brands’ businesses, priorities, and products
  • Advise the brands on how to win from a channel marketing standpoint, including consumer messaging, sampling strategy, social media strategy, co-op advertising, and creative to achieve mutually beneficial business objectives, as well as general marketing strategy
  • Build Collaborative Marketing Programs securing brand participation in relevant marketing programs
  • Analyze and report on brand ROI for collaborative marketing programs and sampling investments. Utilize data to make recommendations to deliver win-wins for both the brands and client
  • Procure and manage insider and subscription sampling and promotional plans for brands, including identifying opportunities for new co-op marketing programs and partnerships
  • Serve as the go-to marketing contact for the client category merchant(s) and build cross functional partnerships with merchandising/brands, digital marketing, .com merchandising, store education, loyalty, and analytics teams
  • Mentor and lead junior team members and cross-functional partners

Senior Brand Marketing Manager Qualifications:

  • 8+ years related experience in brand management/marketing in a consumer facing business, digital content publisher or digital agency
  • Proactive problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas
  • Honed presentation skills; confidence in presenting point of view in multiple forums, including leadership level
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational and time management skills
  • Creative self-starter with can-do positive attitude
  • Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and work effectively in a highly cross-functional team
  • Ability to travel as required
