THE POSITION If you are eager to leverage your expertise and training in Quality Assurance and Risk Management, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Wernersville State Hospital is on the lookout for a dedicated Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist who will take on the responsibility of collecting and abstracting data, monitoring various processes, entering data accurately, and compiling and reporting on a diverse range of services within a state mental health facility. This role is perfect for someone who is committed to ensuring high standards and improving the quality of care provided. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist under the direct supervision of the Chief Performance Improvement Executive, you will be responsible for investigating allegations of patient abuse and patient rights grievances at Wernersville State Hospital. You will also be responsible for data collection and monitoring, data entry, and the compilation and reporting of a wide variety of services provided at our facility. This position will require you to consult and collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical and nonclinical support staff in the monitoring and evaluation of quality assurance and risk management program activities. You will also create questionnaires, surveys, and other documents to collect and analyze information for use in decision-making and performance improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will develop a working knowledge of facility, departmental, state, and federal policies and regulations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position will require flex time on other shifts. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of professional experience as a member of a multiple disciplinary treatment team in a public or private health care facility and a bachelor's degree;or Two years of clinical experience in an human services agency, including one year of administrative, evaluative, or consultative experience in a health care program; and a bachelor's degree with major course work in social work, nursing, health care administration, behavioral sciences or a related field;or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
