Project Manager – QSR & Retail Construction

Our client, a leader in commercial construction specializing in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) and retail build-outs , is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team in Charlotte, NC . This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-driven professional with deep experience managing fast-paced construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.

🔨 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full project lifecycle for QSR, retail, and restaurant construction projects—ground-up and interior fit-outs.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Oversee procurement, material deliveries, and subcontractor performance.
• Communicate proactively with clients and stakeholders throughout the project.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company standards.

📌 Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably in QSR, retail, or restaurant projects .
• Proven ability to manage multiple fast-track projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, permitting, and inspections.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (not required).
