Job Description

Seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Coordinator | Scheduler with at least 2 years of experience in the construction trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or general contracting). The ideal candidate has worked both in the field and the office, understands the unique challenges of service and installation work, and can effectively manage logistics, customer communication, and project flow.

This position is responsible for scheduling field service technicians, coordinating materials and parts, preparing bids and quotes, managing customer expectations, and ensuring timely project execution

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, dispatching, or scheduling within construction, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC industries.
  • Prior hands-on field experience (tech, installer, or service role) strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of bidding, quoting, and estimating for trade services.
  • Strong ability to problem-solve and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using project management or scheduling software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Jobber, Microsoft Project, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree a plus.
  • Experience in service department operations or field service coordination.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes.
  • Basic understanding of inventory and procurement systems.

This role will sit HYBRID out of the Omaha, NE office.
