Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and delivery of GAAP and statutory financial statements, including disclosures
• Manage quarterly and annual reporting cycles, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to streamline audits and documentation
• Drive improvements in reporting processes and implement effective internal controls
• Support strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects aimed at scaling the financial reporting function

Requirements:

• CPA designation required
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Background in insurance or reinsurance accounting is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with statutory reporting tools (such as Wings) and regulatory filing processes
• Advanced Excel capabilities and a knack for solving complex problems independently
