About Us

Sokami Tea is redefining the matcha category with a luxurious, ready-to-drink ceremonial-grade matcha latte infused with blueberry, lavender, and a clean, dairy-free milk blend. Inspired by ritual, beauty, and balance, Sokami is gluten-free, low in sugar, and made with the highest-quality natural ingredients.

Created by model and health advocate Aminata Sissoko, Sokami began as a private wellness ritual and quickly gained traction at curated events, wellness pop-ups, and tastings. Now, with a signature drink and strong visual brand, we’re preparing for a retail launch targeting Erewhon, Whole Foods, and boutique wellness markets.

Responsibilities

• Funding our initial production run (retort-capable and shelf-stable)
• Advising on go-to-market strategy, retail distribution, and pricing
• Guiding decisions around manufacturing, packaging, and compliance
• Opening doors to industry connections and brand partnerships

Qualifications

You are a forward-thinking investor with a passion for health, beauty, and wellness. You have experience or deep interest in:

• CPG, beverage, or functional food industries

• Wellness-driven or mission-led consumer brands

• Fundraising, angel investing, or startup acceleration

• Brand storytelling, community growth, or retail strategy
