Solid Waste Driver

Grade: 130

Salary: Grade 130 / Step 1 = $49,857.60 per year

POSITION SUMMARY

This position performs manual labor and equipment operation to assist with the collection of residential solid waste and recycling materials for the City.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma/equivalent with one (1) year experience
operating trucks and heavy equipment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Welding/fabrication experience.
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems experience.
• Valid Class B CDL without air brake restriction at time of hire.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to obtain valid Class B CDL without air brake restriction
within 6 months of hire.
• First Aid and CPR certification upon hire.
