Job Description

Contracts Manager

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee all phases of contract management, from proposal through execution and administration. This role serves as a key liaison between our company and customers, ensuring contract performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction, particularly in military and government-related programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full contract lifecycle—capture, proposal, award, and administration—for supply and service agreements.
  • Act as the company’s official representative to customer contract and procurement teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer representatives to support business goals.
  • Address and resolve contract-related issues, including performance concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal procedures.
  • Confirm that final contracts reflect negotiation agreements accurately.
  • Support program direction and coordination in collaboration with the SVP of Programs.
  • Oversee program execution within scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Support government and defense contracts, including Prime Contractor and LAP (Load, Assemble, Pack) programs.
  • Assist with bids and proposals, including resource identification, budgeting, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in contracts or program management

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience with estimating, financial planning, procurement, MRP, and manufacturing systems
  • Strong grasp of scheduling tools and program management practices
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), FAR, and UCC regulations

Physical Requirements:

  • Moderate physical activity, including standing for long periods
  • High mental and visual focus required
  • Must comply with DoD drug and alcohol testing protocols
