QUALIFICATIONS

• Required:  Current  personal trainer certification  from an NCCA accredited organization (preferably ACSM, NASM, or ACE)
• Required:  Current  CPR/AED certification
• Required:  Minimum 1 year of personal training experience
• Required:  Must  live in Baltimore City or County  and have  your own vehicle  to travel to clients' homes / offices
• Preferred:  Bachelor's degree  or higher in a fitness related field

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Fit2Go trainer, you will be assigned to work with pre-signed Fit2Go clients in their homes, apartment complexes, and/or commercial office spaces in Baltimore City / County .

Unlike in traditional personal training jobs, you will not be expected to be a salesman. You  will  be expected to be one of the most professional, personable, and effective personal trainers in the Baltimore area.

Your job will not be to simply provide workout sessions. Your job will be to  get clients results .

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide 1 - 3 in-person sessions per week for each client
• Conduct   personalized fitness assessments and  develop   tailored training programs
• Collaborate with clients to  set measurable fitness goals  and  track their progress
• Provide nutrition coaching as relevant to client's goals and lifestyle (including tracking calories / macros short-term and establishing habits long-term)
• Design clear off-day plans for clients to follow in between sessions
• Educate clients on anatomy, physiology, and fitness nutrition to set them up  for long-term success in their lifestyle changes
• Maintain  an  excellent personal relationship with your client and  represent Fit2Go  with the  highest industry standards of professionalism at all times
• Create fitness content to establish yourself as a Baltimore fitness expert (minimum once per week)

1) Redefine the trainer / client relationship.

At Fit2Go, our job isn't simply to give personal training sessions.  Our job is to get clients results.

We track progress meticulously, and problem-solve (as a team) every week to optimize results.

2) Change the setup for us -- the trainers.

Trainers should be trainers,  not  salesmen. Fit2Go trainers work with pre-signed clients ready and excited to collaborate on their fitness journeys. We also meet monthly to review each team member's progress towards his/her career, financial, and personal goals.

WHO WE ARE

Fit2Go Personal Training was founded in 2013 by Dani Singer, in response to a dissatisfaction with industry standards for personal training.

In addition to his role with Fit2Go, Dani plays an active role in improving the state of the fitness industry, serving as a fitness expert for national magazines such as Reader’s Digest, Livestrong, and Muscle & Fitness, and teaching over 200,000 personal trainers worldwide as an advisor to the Personal Trainer Development Center
