Job Title: Bilingual Paralegal (Spanish-English)

Location: Newark, NJ (On-site)

Overview:

A busy and well-respected law firm in Newark, NJ seeks a detail-oriented and highly organized Bilingual Paralegal (Spanish-English) to support its growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury or civil litigation and a strong communication ability with Spanish-speaking clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with case preparation, legal research, and file management
• Translate and interpret for Spanish-speaking clients during meetings, calls, and case updates
• Draft legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, and discovery responses
• Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Communicate with clients regarding case status and collect necessary documentation
• Calendar deadlines, hearings, and appointments

Requirements:

• 2+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury or litigation
• Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
