As a 3D Generalist (Animator) on our team, you will be launched forward into creating our industries highest quality visual demonstrations, marketing, and training products. The main function of an animator is to create designs, animate, render, and composition based on design principles and concepts. A typical animator needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create designs with intention.
• Build animations for product groups based on our needs.
• Plan and implement new designs.
• Test for intuitively and experience.
• Communicate with customers to understand their business goals and objectives.
• Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions.
• Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements.
• Create prototypes for new product ideas.
• Test new ideas before implementing.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 2-year technical degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or similar.
• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees will be considered.
• Must be able to provide an art portfolio link to be considered.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Deep knowledge of After Effects, Adobe software, and Autodesk Maya / Max.
• Understanding of modeling, animation, and rendering.
• Forward thinking.
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving ability are required.
• Ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design.
• Experience with Autodesk Maya, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Suite is required.
• Understanding of Lighting, Scene Creation, 3D material workflows, and creating realistic textures.
• Experience with animating and the core concepts of animation.
• P ost processing in After Effects required.
• Previous experience generating new images.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Critical thinking and strong reasoning skills.

• Experience with additional 2D software’s.
• Storyboarding.
