Job Description

We’re partnering with a leading law firm seeking an experienced Contract Treasury Manager to join their finance team, for an indefinite assignment . This role is critical to ensuring efficient cash flow management, maintaining strong banking relationships, and supporting overall financial health during a period of strategic focus.

As Treasury Manager, you’ll be hands-on in overseeing daily treasury operations, including cash forecasting, payments, liquidity management, and short-term investments. You’ll work cross-functionally with accounting, FP&A, and legal teams while contributing directly to the firm’s strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity reporting
• Manage short-term investments and ensure optimal use of firm capital
• Maintain and build relationships with banking partners
• Oversee treasury operations including wire transfers, ACH, payments, and reconciliations
• Support intercompany funding, capital planning, and working capital initiatives
• Monitor and manage financial risk including FX and interest rate exposure
• Ensure strong internal controls and maintain treasury systems
• Assist in loan compliance, covenant monitoring, and other financing activities
• Partner with tax, accounting, and financial planning teams
• Prepare regular treasury and cash flow reports for senior leadership

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of treasury or corporate finance experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong understanding of cash management, short-term investments, and banking systems
• Proficiency with treasury platforms and ERP systems (experience with Aderant or similar a plus)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CTP certification a plus)

Compensation:

$65 - $100/hr.+ depending on relevant experience
