Role Overview:

We are seeking a Telecom Specialist with expertise in cloud migration to help transition our current telecommunication systems from on-premises data centers (DC) to cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both telecom infrastructure and cloud technologies, with hands-on experience in managing cloud migrations, optimizing telecommunication systems, and ensuring seamless integration of cloud services.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in telecom systems management and cloud migration.
• Deep understanding of telecom infrastructure, VoIP, Unified Communications (UC), and contact center solutions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and cloud-based telecom solutions.
• Experience in managing large-scale migration projects with a focus on seamless transition and minimal downtime.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, security, and telecommunications best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Cloud Professional, or equivalent cloud/telecom certifications.
• Familiarity with cloud network configuration and network design in cloud environments.
• Experience in designing and deploying hybrid cloud telecom solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Migration Strategy:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for migrating the organization’s telecom infrastructure from data centers to cloud platforms.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define migration requirements, project timelines, and success metrics.
• Assess current telecommunication solutions and recommend the best cloud alternatives to meet business needs, ensuring scalability, cost-efficiency, and high performance.

Telecom System Design & Implementation:

• Design and configure cloud-based telecom solutions, ensuring optimal integration with existing business processes and technology stack.
• Lead the implementation of cloud telecom services, including voice over IP (VoIP), Unified Communications (UC), contact center solutions, and messaging services.
• Collaborate with cloud providers to customize solutions that meet specific operational and security requirements.

Migration & Transition Management:

• Oversee the migration of telecom systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Develop and follow a detailed migration plan, ensuring proper data migration, application testing, and validation.
• Manage the testing of the cloud solutions post-migration to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance meet business requirements.

Optimization & Troubleshooting:

• Monitor the performance of cloud-based telecom services, ensuring optimal uptime and connectivity.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise post-migration, providing timely resolutions to ensure continued operational efficiency.
• Continuously analyze network traffic, system performance, and cloud service usage to suggest improvements and optimizations.

Security & Compliance:

• Ensure all telecom and cloud solutions comply with relevant security standards and industry regulations.
• Implement security protocols to protect data integrity, privacy, and telecom systems in the cloud environment.
• Work with IT security teams to audit and maintain the security of cloud-based telecom services.

Education : Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent work experience.
