Job Description

We're looking for a Technical Analyst with solid technical acumen, strong Jira experience, and a track record of working with both onshore and offshore teams. The right person has supported (or directly contributed to) the build of digital platforms — ideally in complex environments like insurance, banking, or enterprise systems.

This role is hands-on, collaborative, and ideal for someone who wants to grow technically while staying close to product and stakeholder needs.

What You'll Do:

• Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and offshore resources
• Support the build and configuration of digital platforms — from workflows to forms and integrations
• Create and manage Jira boards, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Assist in system requirements gathering, form mapping, and process documentation
• Contribute to testing and QA efforts; help troubleshoot issues during builds or deployments
• Work cross-functionally with product owners, engineers, and UX/design teams

What We're Looking For:

• 3–5 years of experience in a Technical Analyst, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role
• Proven experience working with offshore development or QA teams
• Strong understanding of Jira — you know how to own a backlog and manage workflows
• Experience in communication mapping, form logic, and platform configuration
• Strong technical intuition — you don’t need to be a developer, but you understand how platforms are built
• Exposure to no-code/low-code platforms (Unqork experience is a plus but not required)
• Bonus: Experience helping build a digital insurance platform (e.g., new life insurance app or portal)

Location:

• Must be based in New York City or within commuting distance (NY metro area). This is not a remote role.
