job description:

we are looking for an experienced and passionate store director to lead our presence at bloomingdale’s, bringing the essence of the brand to life through exceptional leadership, client engagement, and cross–functional collaboration.

reporting to the retail manager, you will play a key role in delivering an elevated customer experience, developing strong relationships with personal shoppers and stylists, and ensuring operational excellence aligned with the brand’s dna.

key responsibilities:

  • act as a great brand ambassador, representing the house with strong commercial and outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • lead and coordinate sales and operational staff through the weekly operational planning process.
  • provide schedules respecting the deadlines to store leadership team on a consistent basis.
  • build and maintain strategic relationships with personal shoppers, stylists, and bloomingdale’s stakeholders
  • partner with pr, marketing, customer experience, and strategy teams to plan and execute impactful in–store activations
  • provide hands–on, on–site support during activations, hosting clients and ensuring seamless execution and an elevated brand experience.
  • collaborate closely with retail management operations to strengthen brand development, product knowledge, and client loyalty.
  • lead, inspire, and develop the store team, ensuring sales and operational staff are fully aligned with company goals and service standards.
  • provide structured feedback to headquarters on collections and actively participate in buying sessions.
