Job: Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) – Travel Contract

Contract Type: 13-Week Travel Assignment
Shift: Night 5x8-Hour (23:00 – 07:30) | Rotating Weekends/On Call/Holidays
Start Date: 02/10/2026(Tentative)
Compensation:
• Local Candidates: $32/hour
• Travelers: $1,400 weekly total ($800 W2 taxable hourly + $600 non-taxable stipend)
Role Overview:
Seeking a certified Sterile Processing Tech for a 13-week night shift assignment. You will be responsible for decontamination, high-level disinfection, sterilization, case cart assembly, and processing of surgical instrument sets/trays across multiple specialties including Orthopedics, General, OB/GYN, Urology, Plastics, and ENT.
Requirements:
• Active certification: CRCST (IAHCSMM/HSPA) or CBSPD
• Minimum 1 year of recent Sterile Processing experience in an acute hospital setting
• Proficiency with washers/sterilizers, steam sterilization monitoring, HLD, and tray assembly
• Ability to lift 25 lbs, stand for prolonged periods, and work effectively in a team
• Understanding of ANSI/AAMI, AORN, and Title 22 standards
Preferred:
• Tracking system knowledge
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties
