Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate to join our Investments Team . This position is based in St. Louis, MO or may be performed remotely by qualified candidates located in the United States. The Senior Associate will play a key role in underwriting, structuring, and executing investments across solar, storage, and other clean energy platforms. The ideal candidate brings transactional experience, advanced modeling skills, and a strong grasp of tax credit structures such as ITC/PTC and credit transferability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting and diligence for tax equity, preferred equity, and structured credit investments
• Build, maintain, and audit complex financial models at both the project and platform level
• Prepare internal investment memos and present recommendations to the Investment Committee
• Support deal structuring and negotiation of term sheets and transaction documents
• Collaborate with legal, tax, technical, and third-party advisors throughout the transaction process
• Monitor regulatory developments and market dynamics in the clean energy and tax credit space
• Engage with developers, sponsors, and institutional partners on active transactions and portfolio matters

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in project finance, private equity, infrastructure investing, or investment banking (energy/real assets preferred)
• Deep understanding of renewable energy financial structures, including tax equity and transferability
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel proficiency
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to clearly convey complex investment themes
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a distributed team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus
• Must be based in the United States and authorized to work without sponsorship
