About this Position:

The Senior Warehouse Associate takes part in all activities that comprise the functions of a successful warehouse operation. In partnership with the Operations Manager – Warehouse, the Senior Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining proper inventory level and placing orders for inventory (including custom and special order products), shipping and receiving of assets and disposables, managing and administrating rental/serialized equipment and the cleaning/maintenance/tracking of that equipment, adhering to administrative procedures, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace and warehouse flow, training and working with other warehouse staff, and communicating and collaborating effectively with other operational teams (Patient Care, Orthotic Fitters, Service Technicians, Accounting, etc.) and external partners. The Senior Warehouse Associate is also responsible for executing the technical workflow for transfers/purchase orders/etc. in our IT systems and sales order updates in our billing/CRM system, etc..

The ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of and experience with logistics and inventory/warehouse management and have some experience and/or interest in the healthcare industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for complete warehouse execution and improvement, including but not limited to inventory control, inventory cleaning/maintenance, receiving and shipping, purchasing, Brightree/NetSuite updates, and general maintenance of the warehouse properties.
  • In partnership with the Operations Manager – Warehouse, train and develop warehouse staff.
  • Serve as a main point of contact with suppliers and proactively work to reduce costs, streamline ordering and overall product, identify trends and new potential product opportunities, etc..
  • Perform warehouse receiving/distribution activities. Manage and process all inventory movement daily including but not limited to approved purchase orders, transfers, service technician set-ups, Fed-Ex shipments, receiving, etc.. Ensure invoices, packing slips, orders, etc. are accurate.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels throughout the warehouse. Provide recommendations to increase, decrease, consolidate, etc. product and inventory levels throughout the year. Maintain system to regularly count and manage inventory (ie. Cycle counts, quarterly inventory, seasonal min/max/reorder adjustments, etc.)
  • Order equipment/product for the warehouse to ensure that it’s stocked appropriately and customers are able to receive proper units they need, including regularly purchased items, special order/custom items, etc..
  • Execute the asset/rental equipment maintenance and record keeping activities to ensure a full working inventory. Ensure all incoming and outgoing assets are properly logged, cleaned, maintained/serviced, and processed in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse; provide recommendations to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate and communicate with all internal and external stakeholders. Communicate with suppliers, patients, clinicians, sales reps, service techs, and other managers in a timely and proactive way. Review and resolve all escalated matters in a timely manner in partnership with the Operations Manager - Warehouse.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Required Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse/inventory
  • Durable Medical Equipment or healthcare experience preferred
  • Well versed in HIPAA requirements preferred

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

  • Sitting/standing for prolonged periods of time – exceeding 8 hours per day
  • Prolonged periods of screen time – exceeding 4 hours per day
  • Ability to safely lift, push or pull 50-150 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to operate lift equipment
  • General/mild exposure to hazardous chemicals (non-flammable/non-toxic)
  • Moderate stress due to numerous schedule and priority changes daily

The annual compensation range for this position is $55,000-$65,000.
