Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Residential Designer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed architectural designs using Revit software. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and architects to produce high-quality design solutions.

Duties

• Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using Revit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and provide innovative solutions.
• Utilize additional software tools such as ERP systems and Autodesk Revit.
• Create detailed documentation including plans, sections, elevations, and schedules.
• Draft technical drawings and specifications while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Working cross functionally with team members.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and design modifications.

Experience

• Proficiency in Revit is essential.
• Familiarity with design principles and residential design processes is preferred.
• Experience with 2D animation tools is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience producing bill of materials a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating effective communication skills.
