Job Overview:
A respected law firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join its Labor & Employment Litigation Practice in Los Angeles. Duties:
Handle a wide range of employment litigation matters, including single-plaintiff and wage and hour class actions
Manage cases independently, serving as the primary contact for clients
Supervise and mentor junior associates and support staff
Conduct legal research and draft high-quality motions, pleadings, and briefs
Oversee all stages of litigation, including discovery and depositions
Apply knowledge of Federal Court Rules and e-Discovery practices
Contribute to the strategic development of the Labor & Employment practice
Provide occasional employment advice and counseling as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of employment litigation experience
Experience managing multiple cases and leading litigation teams
Proven courtroom and deposition experience
Familiarity with federal procedural rules and e-discovery
Demonstrated project management and client-facing capabilities
Strong interest in business development and growing a practice
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally accredited law school
Strong academic performance required
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in California
Skills:
Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
Ability to handle complex litigation independently
Effective client communication and interpersonal skills
