Junior Real Estate Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of real estate law/practice working for a law firm or corporation. At least 1 year of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal in a law firm preferred. Real Estate Paralegal work (including contracts) for a telecommunications company, site acquisition company, or cell towers owner company desirable but not required.
Education Requirements:
Must have completed Paralegal schooling.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Required Skills and Other:
Must have excellent MS Word, Excel (not formulas), and NitroPro skills.
Heavy contract redlining experience required. Must be able to redline agreements and amendments.
Must be able to abstract lease terms and summarize them in routing forms and other types of communications with a high level of accuracy.
Prepare routing forms and amendment packages for approvals and signatures in NitroPro.
Minimum of 5-years’ experience preparing agreements and amendments from templates in MS Word.
Will Upload agreements and due diligence in leasing system.
Will track agreements status in Excel.
Will Assist Sr. Paralegal with change of ownerships and obtaining certain due diligence from Lessors. Will Upload same to leasing system and notifying Contracts Administrator with accurate changes.
Must provide timely notifications to Contracts Administrator regarding rent increases.
Must have ability to summarize agreement and amendment terms and provide such notifications with accurate information.
Must be able to articulate contract information to various subject matter experts such as engineers, accountants, lawyers/paralegals, etc.
Must have:
Excellent communications skills.
Excellent attention to details.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must be dependable and trustworthy. Must be capable of handling a high volume of work with a high level of accuracy and to be able to meet or exceed deadlines.
Must work a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office (Monday-Thursday) and 1 day remote (Friday). Office located in downtown Atlanta.
