Now Hiring: FSQA Manager | Stockton, CA

Salary: $93,000–$115,000

We’re seeking an experienced FSQA Manager to lead food safety and quality initiatives across our operations. If you have a strong background in food manufacturing, a solid understanding of regulatory requirements, and a drive for continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage FSQA programs to ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and company standards.
• Monitor and drive performance using key metrics related to microbiology, foreign material control, and sanitation.
• Develop and lead a high-performing FSQA team, including training, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee GMPs, HARPC, AIMS, and maintain all FSQA documentation through the ETQ platform.
• Provide food safety and hygiene training to production and support teams.
• Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformances and customer complaints, and drive corrective actions.
• Support regulatory, customer, and third-party audits, including GFSI recertifications.
• Implement and maintain preventive controls for physical, chemical, biological, and allergen hazards.
• Maintain oversight of traceability and recall programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and integrate quality controls.
• Conduct compliance assessments across production and distribution environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of experience in food safety and quality roles within food manufacturing.
• HACCP certification required; BRC or SQF certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of GFSI standards and USDA/FDA regulatory frameworks.
• Proficient in environmental monitoring, GMPs, and food safety risk management.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and root cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and statistical tools.
