About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial drywall and construction projects.
  • Analyze drawings and specifications to prepare detailed takeoffs and cost breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing and project data.
  • Prepare and submit bid proposals and cost reports for upcoming projects.
  • Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids for cost efficiency.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Manage daily job site operations, coordinating suppliers and subcontractors while maintaining safety compliance.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust to stay aligned with goals and deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and issues promptly.
  • Review and approve project change orders, ensuring proper documentation and budget updates.
  • Prepare and Maintain project submittals, contracts, documentation, and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Extensive commercial drywall estimating and project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in project management tools, construction software, and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with On-Screen Takeoff and QuickBid software (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of construction accounting and budgeting.

Pay range and compensation package

  • Guaranteed salary based on experience starting at $90,000.
  • Cell phone and laptop.

  • Hours of Operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
