JOB TITLE: Project Manager -Construction

EMPLOYMENT TYPE/DURATION:6 months to one year with possible extension

Employment Type: Contract

Location: -- Hybrid position -- travel required

COMPENSATION: $65/hour -$70/hour

Experience with projects involving construction/real estate is required

These projects will require significant agility, the ability to be highly self-directed, and a comfort in working cross-functionally across a wide range of teams, leaders, and topics. Excellent communication and organizational skills will be needed to effectively coordinate with the wide array of internal and external stakeholders as well as keeping leadership informed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Accountability: Proven ability to lead and coordinate across multiple teams and vendors, ensuring alignment, clear communication, and timely execution.
  • Execution & Timeline Management: Strong project ownership with a track record of driving initiatives forward under tight deadlines. Demonstrates a low tolerance for delays and excuses, maintaining momentum and delivering results.
  • Detail-Oriented & Fast-Paced Execution: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage complex workflows and shifting priorities in a high-speed environment. Thrives in demanding settings and consistently delivers high-quality outcomes.
  • 10+ years of project management experience, including ample experience running cross-functional projects
  • Experience with projects involving construction/real estate is required
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
  • Ability to travel on occasion

Key Skills

  • Excellent, broad ranging communication skills – both written and verbal. The right leader will have the ability to lead a presentation in a boardroom as well as provide detailed direction to a general contractor at a construction site.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and detail orientation with the ability to stay on top of several complex projects at once and not lose sight of the details
  • Independent self-starter with a strong drive to achieve results on time and on budget with minimal oversight
  • Results oriented leader who will take personal responsibility for achieving project results
  • Highly flexible and adaptable leader who thrives under high pressure, tight deadlines, and is not fazed by changing priorities or managing multiple workstreams in parallel
