Job Description

Our client is an alternative asset management and advisory firm with a global presence, whose investment strategies span public and private markets. They are seeking a highly personable, execution-oriented individual to join their venture capital capital group. The ideal candidate will lead capital formation strategy, focusing on raising capital for our private market platform and multiple venture capital strategies across fintech and climate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to raise capital for our venture capital initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, including investment consultants, pensions, insurance companies, endowments, and foundations.
• Elevate our profile within the institutional investor community through strategic PR, event management, and external presence.
• Create and update marketing presentations, build data rooms, and manage prospect lists.
• Analyze fundraising strategy to understand where there is room for improvement

Qualifications:

• 5-10+ years of experience in business development, capital formation, or investor relations, ideally in a client-facing role.
• Must have experience with private markets, venture experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a process-driven approach to relationship management.
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
