Job Description

Location: At Opencare, we are a remote first organization and we are open to applicants across Canada and the US.

Before you read any further: Our strength at Opencare relies on the diversity of perspective that we work hard to craft on our team. We are all solving the same set of problems from our own unique lenses, and this is fundamental to our success as a business.

Experience means something different to each of us and your unique combination of skills, passions and experiences are what makes you a valuable asset to our team. If the role below is of interest to you, please consider applying!

Opencare’s Mission:

To reinvent how dentists run their practices, so they can focus on what matters most: providing exceptional patient care.

Running a dental practice is becoming more and more complicated every year. At Opencare, we believe that dentists should be focused on delivering world class patient experiences and care, not worrying about where their next patient is going to come from. Opencare is making that a reality by conveniently enabling patients to find a new dentist that perfectly matches their needs, and seamlessly book and visit them for the first time.

We live our most important life moments through our mouths, from laughing with friends to eating our favorite meal to kissing our loved ones goodnight. Despite that, most people avoid seeing a dentist and prioritizing their oral wellness. We are changing that.

Our Growth team’s Vision:

In order for Opencare to truly impact a change in people’s perceptions around dentistry, we need to attract patients to our platform, and effectively communicate the “why” behind this vision. We want to build a world where going to the dentist is a regular part of your overall wellness routine, and allow for proactive and well-informed decisions to be made around who you trust with this important part of your health.

How will you help us get there:

We’re looking for a data-driven, growth-minded Performance Marketing Manager, Paid Search to join our team at Opencare.  In this role, you will work closely with our CMO to build user acquisition programs, search acquisition frameworks, Google platform strategies, and performance optimization across all search-driven initiatives. You will focus primarily on Google Ads, Bing Ads and the broader Google ecosystem (Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen and YouTube), optimizing scalable, location-based campaigns across multiple markets.. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on testing, analyzing, and scaling digital campaigns that drive measurable business results.

You will be responsible for:
  • Owning and managing all in-house Paid Search programs including Google Search, Bing Search, and related Google performance products — from strategy to execution and reporting.
  • Planning, building, and optimizing multi-location paid search campaigns with a heavy emphasis on local intent, competitive dynamics, and geo-specific performance signals.
  • Developing scalable account structures that support managing many local markets while balancing automation and manual optimizations.
  • Leveraging data and insights to make strategic decisions, using benchmarks, historical performance, and real-time metrics to improve ROI.
  • Applying advanced analytical frameworks to simplify large datasets and turn complexity into clear performance recommendations.
  • Designing and executing A/B and multivariate tests with a structured performance measurement framework to validate learnings and inform future campaigns.
  • Executing testing specifically focused on bidding strategies, audiences, keyword intent, ad copy, and landing page performance.
  • Identifying growth opportunities across new and existing marketing channels, balancing experimentation with scalability.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to understand the full user lifecycle and align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Monitoring and report on performance regularly, translating campaign data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Building forecasting and pacing models to effectively manage spend and efficiency across markets.
Skills and attributes we are looking for in a successful candidate:
  • 3–5+ years experience managing large-scale Paid Search campaigns across multiple geographies, ideally in a distributed/local market model.
  • Strong analytical mindset — comfortable interpreting large data sets, identifying patterns, and drawing actionable insights.
  • Ability to simplify complex datasets into clear insights, frameworks, and action plans for stakeholders.
  • Proven experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker, or similar).
  • Experience managing budgets and performance forecasting with accountability for cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and lifetime value (LTV).
  • SEO familiarity and basic comfort with HTML/JavaScript are a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and highly-motivated, out-of-the-box thinker with an aptitude for problem solving.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills; with the ability to understand and communicate high-level goals to team members and stakeholders.
  • A growth-oriented, resourceful mindset that is comfortable managing many campaigns, markets, and tests simultaneously — you’re scrappy, experimental, and thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first SaaS startup.
