We are Searching for a Parts Specialist to join our team!

Job Summary:

Exceeds customer expectations by securing parts for our customers on a timely basis and in the most efficient way. Provide quality technical support to our external and internal customers and other departments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide the best quality parts, customer service, and technical support.
• Execute IRIUM system policies, procedures, data, and order entry.
• Carry out department and company policies and procedures.
• Process stock, emergency, and special orders as required.
• Maintain an accurate database.
• Work in a team atmosphere to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company.
• Provide technical support and research for internal and external customers.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts.
• Navigate, research, and select parts.
• Research customer requirements using IRIUM, technical assistance, manuals, and outside sources.
• Promote products and services of Pengate Handling Systems.
• Responsible for initial contact with customers and vendors at the Parts Counter.
• Additional duties as required or assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM, computer programs
• Maintain a safe and non-hazardous work environment.
• Ability to exceed customer needs.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service or sales experience
• Certified in the operation of material handling equipment beneficial
• Industry experience beneficial

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to continuously talk, hear and speak with good articulation and voice control.
• Must be able to use fingers and hands to handle, feel and reach with hands and arms to lift, file and handle inventory.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under significant stress and meet high performance demands.
• Ability to stand and walk for 2 hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to life, bend, twist, kneel, crouch, crawl continuously.
• Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to drive 4 hours.
• Some overnight travel may be required.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
