We're Hiring: Office Assistant | Hoover, AL | $16–$20/hour | On-site

A fast-paced, professional organization in Hoover, Alabama is seeking a highly organized, friendly, and proactive Office Assistant to serve as the welcoming face of the office and support daily operations. Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service
  • Create and manage service tickets and outgoing/incoming invoices
  • Process walk-ins and pickups, handle check payments, and manage documentation
  • Maintain records using FreshBooks and perform monthly audits of licensing and IT systems

Office Management

  • Keep the office tidy and stocked—including break rooms and restrooms
  • Replenish supplies, organize shipping, and monitor inventory
  • Assist with hardware programming and spreadsheet tracking

Customer & Team Interaction

  • Greet clients with professionalism and warmth
  • Maintain a calm, professional tone throughout all communications
  • Support internal teams with problem-solving and task follow-through

Additional Tasks

  • Water plants weekly
  • Process vendor invoices and assist with light facilities tasks
