New Model Project Manager - Hybrid | Columbus, OH | $26-28/hr A leading automotive supplier is seeking a
New Model Project Manager to support key vehicle programs by acting as a central liaison between internal departments, external partners, and manufacturing facilities. This hybrid position is ideal for a collaborative, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of project coordination and cross-functional communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate pre-production and production activities to support vehicle program timelines
Ensure timely part readiness and manage design changes
Serve as the liaison between internal departments (sales, engineering, manufacturing) and external partners (suppliers, OEMs)
Resolve issues, track milestones, and provide clear updates through reports and presentations
Lead and participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Occasional travel to out-of-state and local manufacturing sites
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in project management or related coordination roles (automotive preferred, but not required)
Proven ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams and departments
Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and problem-solving skills
Experience working with both internal and external customers
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data tracking, reporting)
Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint for internal and external presentations
Work Details:
Pay Rate: $26-28/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, core hours 9 AM - 5 PM (flexibility for early/late meetings as needed)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days on-site, 2 remote
