Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas has served North County’s coastal communities since 1978. We’re located at Santa Fe Drive and I-5, within walking distance of a park, fitness center, grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants.
Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas’ campus includes Scripps Clinic Encinitas and an outpatient imaging center. We’re home to notable specialty programs including a 24-hour emergency room, accredited stroke care, physical rehabilitation services (including a brain injury day treatment program), our Baby Friendly birthing pavilion and a Level II neonatal intensive care unit.
New Hire Incentive available up to $4,000 for those who qualify. This is a full-time position (64 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour varied shift (days and nights) and requires flexibility of scheduling throughout the week, including weekends, holidays, and participate in on-call rotation with staff. This position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas.

- New Graduates (Must have at least 1 year of experience)
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met: - Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Required Qualifications - ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT
- Venipuncture class completion. Certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure/certification
- 2 years of MRI Tech experience
Preferred Qualifications - Hospital and Cardiac MRI experience
- Experience with Siemens Aera scanner

Position Pay Range: $59.81-$86.71/hour
