Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mechanical Healthcare Engineer at Concord Engineering Group, Inc., located initially in the Voorhees, NJ office with some work-from-home flexibility. Eventually the successful candidate can work in any Concord location as the team builds out. The Mechanical Healthcare Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems in clinical healthcare facilities, conducting inspections, and using computer-aided design (CAD) software for planning and modeling purposes. Day-to-day tasks include surveying existing hospitals, developing program for new hospitals, performing detail design documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with architects and owners to implement the design objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in clinical care Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
  • Strong skills in Healthcare codes and guidelines
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience in healthcare engineering projects.
