The MDS Assistant at Greenwood Health and Living plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments for residents in long-term care. Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in the completion of MDS assessments and ensure they are submitted in a timely manner.
Collaborate with nursing staff to gather relevant information and documentation for MDS submissions.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans based on MDS data.
Provide support during audits and reviews related to MDS assessments and documentation.
Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in healthcare administration or long-term care settings.
Familiarity with MDS 3.0 and related documentation processes.
Preferred QualificationsAssociate's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
Experience with Matrix One software.
Certification in MDS coordination or related training.
