About the Job

Seeking a Marketing Generalist who is excited to play an integral part of the Marketing Team in an established and growing company providing Software as a Service to First Responders. This role will contribute to growing brand awareness and generating new sales leads.  Note this is  NOT   a remote position and is in our offices in Austell, GA.

We are looking for someone who can collaborate and execute a marketing strategy that builds brand awareness, drives sales leads, and enhances the customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Research: Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings, ways to expand vertical marketing, demographic data and the best media platforms and channels to relay product messages to prospects and customers
  • User Conference: Help in planning our sesqui-annual User Conference (Operative IQ ENGAGE) by identifying and working with vendors, marketing the conference to boost attendance, working with event sponsors, helping to plan conference content and themes, etc.
  • Website : Help to manage the company website particularly with an SEO and Google AdWords focus by using Google Analytics to understand content adjustment needs
  • Content Marketing: Write, edit, and post blogs, eBooks, and press releases that educate our prospects and customers
  • Email Marketing: Write, edit, design, and send emails that market new products, upcoming events, and announcements, including the monthly newsletter
  • Customer Engagement: Work with existing customers to develop and conduct marketing webinars, testimonials, and case studies to expand prospect reach
  • Graphic Design: Generate designs and layouts for social media posts, collateral, and support various departments with graphic design needs including documentation and email marketing
  • Video Production: Create engaging videos for marketing and other company and department needs, including filming, editing, and post-production
  • Social Media : Manage the social media strategy and create social media posts that educate and delight
  • Advertising : Create the advertising plan, work with advertising partners, design ads and create copy that converts
  • Sales Enablement: Manage trade show registration and logistics, create sales collateral, work with distributors to create co-branded marketing resources and communicate regularly with sales directors to stay in alignment with the needs of the sales team
  • Travel: Expectation of 10-15% travel primarily for trade shows and potential client visits

Skills:

  • Knowledge of marketing, including advertising, content creation, and building brand awareness
  • Graphic Design experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Demonstrated history of creating successful marketing campaigns
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and general communication skills
  • Ability to quickly understand complex problems and recommend solutions
  • Ability to create and execute strategic marketing plans and manage budgets
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and service-oriented approach when collaborating with others
  • Motivated self-starter able to independently manage owned projects and required tasks

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in business-to-business marketing of a service
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in Emergency Management a plus
  • Microsoft Suite experience preferred
  • SaaS, Pardot, HubSpot, Salesforce, Teams experience a plus
  • Self-starter, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills
