Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and creative Bilingual (Spanish/English) Social Media Content & Event Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team at Madera Toyota Chevrolet. This individual will play a key role in driving brand awareness and customer engagement through social media and event marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, event planning, and be fluent in both English and Spanish. A passion for the automotive industry is a must!

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Content Creation & Management:

  • Develop, create, and manage engaging content across all dealership social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc.), in both English and Spanish.
  • Create high-quality images, videos, and graphics that highlight inventory, promotions, and dealership events.
  • Write and edit compelling copy for posts, captions, and blogs in both languages.
  • Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activity to ensure content remains relevant and on-brand.
  • Engage with the bilingual community by responding to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in both English and Spanish.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, using insights to adjust strategy for maximum impact.

Event Planning & Coordination:

  • Plan, organize, and execute in-dealer events, promotional activities, and vehicle launch events.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to align event messaging and customer experience in both English and Spanish.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including vendor relationships, invitations, RSVPs, promotional materials, and follow-up communications in both languages.
  • Create event-specific content for social media and other digital channels to increase event visibility and attendance, ensuring content is bilingual.
  • Manage on-site event coordination, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule.
  • Post-event follow-up, including customer surveys and social media engagement to measure event success.

Collaboration & Strategy:

Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop content calendars that align with dealership goals and promotions.

Assist in the creation and implementation of email marketing campaigns and digital advertisements.

Help track ROI on social media campaigns and events, providing recommendations for improvement.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve strategies and approaches.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and event coordination, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and content management systems.

Bilingual in Spanish and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate fresh, engaging content ideas.

Experience using social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout, Facebook Insights) to measure and report on performance.

Proven ability to plan, manage, and execute successful events, both virtual and in-person.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Experience in the automotive industry or with car dealerships.
  • Knowledge of SEO, paid advertising, and content marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and email marketing platforms.
  • Local is preferred
