Job Description

The  Local Truck/ Yard Driver  is responsible for moving trailers in and out of specific locations using a yard goat.

Pay:  $25 hourly

Schedule/ Shift Available: 1:00AM-9:30AM

Truck/ Yard Driver Duties & Responsibilities:

• Transport/move trailers to and from yard location using a yard jockey.
• Maintain accurate reports and logs.
• Must maintain safe driving record.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable DOT, Company, State, and Federal policies/laws regarding traffic, safety, hours worked, and drugs and alcohol.
• Must have excellent customer service skills, phone skills, and basic computer knowledge.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to complete a background check, including FBI criminal history, employment background, and pre-employment drug test.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be U.S. citizen or provide proof of right to work in the U.S.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Valid Class A CDL (Required)
• Driving record with no more than 3 points.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs. at a time.
• Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time.
• Yard Jockey experience preferred.
