Title : Linux Administrator
Location : Bellevue, WA
Duration : 12+ months
Rate : $40-45/hr on W2
Relevant Experience (in Yrs.):
· Manage and troubleshoot Linux services including DNS, NIS, LDAP, Altair Accelerator, and IBM LSF.
· Perform kernel-level debugging, patching, and performance tuning to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
· Automate system administration tasks using Ansible, Python, and shell scripting.
· Maintain secure Linux environments aligned with CISSP security best practices and organizational policies.
· Collaborate with cloud, storage, and infrastructure teams to support hybrid deployments.
· Document system configurations, procedures, and changes; maintain version control for installed software and configurations.
· Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and support operational stability.
Must Skills:
· DNS, NIS, LDAP, Altair Accelerator, and IBM LSF
· Linux systems
· kernel tuning, debugging, and patch management
· Ansible, Python, and Bash/Shell scripting
· Linux security hardening
