Survey Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to oversee and manage professional survey services. This role involves coordinating all aspects of survey projects, ensuring quality control, mentoring junior staff, maintaining client relationships, and driving business development within the Power Division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee project tasks, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
• Manage project budgets, analyze profitability, track revenue, and optimize billing rates and utilization.
• Conduct team meetings to evaluate progress and ensure seamless coordination among project stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in survey software, hardware, and equipment.
• Implement and uphold high-quality standards and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in survey deliverables.
• Work closely with leadership to manage staffing, workload distribution, and overall team utilization.
• Collaborate with division leaders to expand the survey team’s presence at both local and national levels, focusing on strategic large-scale projects.
• Contribute technical expertise to business development efforts and support revenue generation initiatives.
• Foster a strong team culture that aligns with organizational goals, values, and long-term strategies.
• Lead by example with professionalism, integrity, and sound decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional Survey License preferred but not required; candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a consulting or surveying role.
• Strong multi-discipline knowledge and comprehensive understanding of land surveying practices.
• Extensive project management experience with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication and leadership skills, with experience supervising and mentoring teams.
• Ability to drive innovation and deliver high-value solutions in surveying services.
