This position is ideal for an attorney with 1–6 years of experience in trademark prosecution or counseling and a technical degree in electrical engineering. The role provides the opportunity to work with innovative clients in tech, software, and electronics, with a focus on helping protect and manage their global IP portfolios.
This opportunity combines technical fluency with legal strategy, offering exposure to domestic and international matters under the guidance of senior IP professionals.

It handles all stages of litigation and specializes in technology driven disputes, as well as patent infringement cases, software, telecommunications, consumer electronics, medical devices pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, transportation and chemicals. Its clients have been both defendants and plaintiffs, as well large companies and small businesses. Their main focus is to protect their client's intellectual property assets, enforce IP rights and shape and develop intellectual property law. Key Responsibilities:
• Advise clients on trademark clearance, registration, renewals, and portfolio management
• Prepare and prosecute domestic and international trademark applications
• Conduct trademark searches and analyze clearance risks
• Respond to USPTO office actions and coordinate with foreign counsel
• Support senior attorneys on strategic trademark matters and client counseling
• Monitor trademark use and manage infringement watch alerts
• Draft legal documents, presentations, and client reports

Qualifications:
• 1–6 years of experience in trademark law, ideally in an IP-focused practice
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admission to at least one U.S. jurisdiction; New York Bar preferred
• Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts into actionable legal strategy
• Familiarity with USPTO procedures and international filing systems
