IT & Security Systems Technician

We are looking for a skilled IT & Security Systems Technician to join our team and provide top-tier support to our clients. 

Job Summary  

We seek a motivated technician with experience in Level 1 & Level 2 IT support (door access control programming and remote security camera troubleshooting are a plus). Daily tasks include responding to help desk tickets, configuring door access systems, and troubleshooting security cameras remotely. 

Key Responsibilities  

IT Support (Level 1 & 2)  

• Provide end-user support for computers, printers, and software issues. 
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (wired and wireless). 
• Assist with Active Directory user management , password resets, M365 suite administration, and account provisioning. 
• Support basic server, workstation maintenance, and backup solutions . 
• Respond to help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner . 

Door Access Control  

• Program and configure door access control systems . 
• Assist with adding/removing users, badge provisioning, and system maintenance. 
• Troubleshoot door access issues , including hardware and software configurations. 
• Work with on-site personnel for remote diagnostics and issue resolution . 

Security Camera Support  

• Configure and troubleshoot IP-based security camera systems remotely. 
• Assist with network settings, firmware updates, and system integrations . 
• Provide guidance to on-site technicians for physical adjustments or repairs. 
• Work with vendors and support teams to resolve escalated camera system issues . 

Qualifications & Skills  

• 1-3 years of experience in IT support or security systems. 
• Basic knowledge of networking (IP addressing, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls) . 
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities . 
• Excellent customer service and communication skills . 
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams remotely . 

Preferred but Not Required  

• Experience with security camera systems (IP-based, remote troubleshooting) . 
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ . 
• Experience with Windows Server environments (e.g., managing user accounts, configuring group policies), Entra (e.g., identity management), and M365 (e.g., email administration 
• Knowledge of cloud-based security solutions . 
• Familiarity with door access control platforms.
