Intake Specialist - Costa Mesa, CA

The Law Offices of Daniel Kim is a top-rated Personal Injury Law Firm in California. We fight for plaintiffs in cases involving cars, trucks, motorcycles, rideshare companies (Uber/Lyft), and other motor vehicle accidents.

We are seeking a talented Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for potential clients and play a crucial role in converting inquiries into retained cases. This position requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to assess legal needs while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.

Compensation: $28 - $32/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries from potential clients.
• Conduct initial consultations to assess case viability based on firm criteria.
• Gather and document essential client information accurately.
• Enter and maintain client data in the firm’s case management system.
• Provide clear and compassionate communication to prospective clients.
• Address general questions about the firm’s services and processes.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
• Assist with marketing follow-ups and lead tracking.
• Ability to influence and generate leads/sales

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree is highly preferred.
• 3+ years experience in legal intake, high volume customer service, or sales (Personal Injury Law experience is highly preferred).
• Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and case management software is preferred.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish, Korean) are highly preferred.

Physical Demands:

Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. This is primarily a sedentary office classification although standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator and to operate standard office equipment. Positions in this classification occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull drawers open and closed to retrieve and file information. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects up to 25 pounds.

Working Environment:

Employees work in a traditional office environment with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances.
