The Inside Sales Support Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and supporting the overall sales process. This role involves proactively engaging with clients, handling inbound and outbound sales inquiries, processing orders, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The Inside Sales Representative must be highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
· Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and lead generation efforts.
· Maintain and grow existing customer accounts by fostering strong relationships and providing excellent service.
· Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the company.
· Actively follow up on leads and inquiries to convert prospects into customers.
2. Customer Relationship Management
· Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing solutions tailored to their needs.
· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
· Understand customer needs and recommend products or services that align with their business goals.
3. Order Processing & Sales Support
· Accurately enter and manage sales orders in the company’s CRM or ERP system.
· Ensure timely processing of customer orders, quotes, and contract renewals.
· Coordinate with logistics and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth order delivery.
· Assist in resolving customer issues related to orders, pricing, and product availability.
4. Product Knowledge & Market Awareness
· Develop a deep understanding of company products, services, and industry trends.
· Stay informed on competitors, pricing strategies, and market conditions.
· Provide product recommendations and solutions based on customer requirements.
5. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
· Work closely with outside sales representatives to ensure seamless customer service.
· Coordinate with marketing teams to support promotions, campaigns, and lead-generation efforts.
· Provide feedback to management on customer needs, preferences, and sales trends.

· Achievement of individual and team sales goals.
· Customer retention and satisfaction rates.
· Number of new accounts acquired and revenue growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred).
· 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related sales role.
· Experience in B2B sales, technology, or procurement industries is a plus.
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, NetSuite, HubSpot, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong understanding of sales techniques and negotiation strategies.
· Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Soft Skills:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
