Job Title: Insect Biologist
Duration : 12 + Months
Location : Chesterfield, MO
Responsibilities include the production of various solutions and artificial diets for insect bioassays, care of plants in a growth chamber and/or greenhouse setting, setup and scoring of insect bioassays and data entry. The usage and upkeep of laboratory equipment along with general lab/CE cleaning.
Requires a bachelor's degree in biology, entomology, plant physiology or related field.
Key competencies include basic understanding of the principles of plant and animal life, attention to detail, results orientation, customer focus, teamwork, strong written and verbal communication skills, and problem-solving skills. The successful applicant should be flexible, self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to work independently or as part of a diverse team.
Experience in agricultural biotechnology or automation/robotics is a plus.
