Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement improvements or innovations pertaining to Manufacturing Execution System (MES) processes and functions, specifically focused on Battery Manufacturing standard information.
- Production System Management and Support: Oversee production planning and operations details, leveraging the capabilities of the MES system. And provide on-site technical support for production line operations, minimizing disruptions and immediate field support on any emergency system malfunctions and resolving system issues promptly.
- Production Activity Monitoring: Harness MES systems to track production performance, ensuring the alignment of activities with established standards and benchmarks.
- Training & Support: Train production line personnel in the use of MES, IT systems and tools to enhance efficiency and compliance. And spearhead user training sessions on MES systems and offer consistent support to team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and system efficiency.
- Troubleshooting & Prevention: Act proactively to address manufacturing site issues, troubleshoot system anomalies, and strategize preventative measures.
- Install: Hardware and software for any IT equipment and present on-site to fix/deliver the equipment.
- On-site check and report: Perform and inspect the routine(daily, monthly, etc.) checklist and report
- Cross functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT systems are integrated with manufacturing processes and comply with company standards.
- Open mindset: Check and take responsibility for all IT systems include hardware and software.
- Promote and Participate: in team work for daily tasks and projects.
- Present on-site: for emergency system issues upon manager’s request.
- Administrative tasks: IT related tasks upon manager’s instruction.
- 24/7 production system support for an IT related issues on shop floor.
Skill and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience in database management, specifically in Oracle/SQL Server environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Solid understanding of applicable regulatory requirements.
- Capability to lift and carry weights of up to 45lb without assisted equipment.
- Travel up to 10% and willingness to travel to different job-sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years or more of hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry
- IT development expertise, notably in .NET, C#, JAVA, Oracle, DB, SQL, and etc., with an emphasis on system development for semiconductor/battery manufacturing industries
- Familiarity with ERP/SAP and Groupware solutions
- Korean language proficiency
- Experience in interfacing with production/inspection equipment and adeptness in PLC/HSMS/TIB communications protocols
- An analytical and problem-solving mindset focused on enhancing administrative efficiency
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
